It was a mock slumber party theme. My son is now 14 and we still use that pillowcase. (tho it's usually on one of his little brothers' beds) Happy TuesdayBarbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02312207507936646771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8105907776165281245.post-13232199380864548382010-05-11T20:07:51.713-05:002010-05-11T20:07:51.713-05:00Yeah, what about those May birthdays? She kept them until they dried, laundered all of them and tied them up with pretty ribbons to be delivered the next week. The kids were extra excited to get them. And I think the Moms were happier about it, too.Mama Badgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14728171552859416176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8105907776165281245.post-64198241526721860782010-05-11T12:57:10.577-05:002010-05-11T12:57:10.577-05:00we do the park/ playground thing too. and honestly...we do the park/ playground thing too. and honestly i hate the goodie bags. they're already jacked uppp enough from the cake and ice cream :D:D:DHeather :Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04475599695209757847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8105907776165281245.post-61700608771411903502010-05-11T12:47:53.465-05:002010-05-11T12:47:53.465-05:00oh, and I agree with kelly, none of it is really n...oh, and I agree with kelly, none of it is really necessary so do what you want!Out in Them Stickshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11632500899922541593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8105907776165281245.post-32355142717428398242010-05-11T12:45:55.668-05:002010-05-11T12:45:55.668-05:00do a craft for the kids to take home instead of a ...do a craft for the kids to take home instead of a goody bag. last year at oscar's party the kids made paper bag puppets and this year I'm going to have them decorating homemade dinosaur sugar cookies. would mae's friends like something like that? maybe some butterfly/flower/sun/spring-like cookie decorating, then they can take some cookies home? A little more prep work for you, but you can do the sugar cookies the night before and whip up icing in a jiff. We have her party at a really nice park and the kids go nuts on the playground. No party favors necessary. Of course, we also ask that people don't bring Violet presents either.

Buck the system Aliceson!
