It's a starting point.Sidhehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03997017630623707478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8105907776165281245.post-39662464487408530872009-01-14T18:11:00.000-06:002009-01-14T18:11:00.000-06:00I'm glad to hear you spoke your mind. We sang fairly neutral holiday songs, like Frosty and Rudolf.

I don't mind Jesus songs being taught to my children, but I'm a Christian. It's terrible, but I guess it will keep happening until someone sues.Out in Them Stickshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11632500899922541593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8105907776165281245.post-22479064799980186252009-01-14T13:33:00.000-06:002009-01-14T13:33:00.000-06:00Yeah, kind of a disappointing reaction from the pr...Yeah, kind of a disappointing reaction from the principal.

There really isn't much you can do now. Maybe ask the kid (s?) how they felt about the song(s)? Definitely feel it out before next xmas and voice any concerns you might have in advance. I think it's great that you took a stand. Not sure if I would have been brave enough in your position.rachel...https://www.blogger.com/profile/09513121601886576274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8105907776165281245.post-4295616613629385132009-01-14T10:27:00.000-06:002009-01-14T10:27:00.000-06:00I'm glad you spoke your mind. Teaching kids comedic insults before they are capable understanding the subtle nuances of adult humor is asking for trouble. It's cute until someone shouts "redneck" in a crowded restaurant and the local chapter of the Hell's Angels happens to be dining nearby...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07378421551422918709noreply@blogger.com
