Questions In My Head

  1. Since when is a football field considered a standard unit of measure?
  2. Because we live across the road from a pig farm, does that put us at risk for Swine Flu?
  3. Why do my kids wait til the last minute to decide what they want to take for the class snack?
  4. Why is the sky still dripping? When will the sun reappear?
  5. Can it be too windy to fly a kite?
  6. Why does Binny wake up every morning looking like a squirrel spent all night making a nest in her hair?
  7. Why can't I make a bowl of malt-o-meal without it erupting all over my microwave?
  8. Who thought that Dateline murder mysteries were a great programming choice at 4 AM? That's not going to help my insomnia.
  9. Why does my husband wait until all of his work clothes are dirty to throw them in the hamper and then get cranky when he has no clean clothes to wear?
  10. What am I going to do with an entire Turkey wing's worth of feathers? Or more accurately, what are my girls going to make with all of the feathers? Do I need to sterilize them first?

I don't have any answers but #9 drives me nuts too. He actually throws them next to the hamper. Seriously is it that hard to make into the hamper?

My younger daughter who is 10, always looks like she's been dragged through a bush backwards. Even after she's brushed her hair!

I have no answers myself, but a whole heap of questions too!

Good post.

That squirrel nests in Molly-Mae's hair too! It has been to windy for us to fly a kite before.

Spray the feathers down with lysol, it sounds like a great Thanksgiving craft or I'm sure they'll think of something better ;)

#9 - I am so with you. Is this the plight of married heterosexual women everywhere??

#9. Morons. :)
Does 'yours' take tags off new things and leave them sitting somewhere rather than throw them out?

Thanks T. Anne, I'll have to try that!

Lots of messy husbands huh? And yes Sheila 'mine' does that too.

And the messy hair... today it was so bad I had to wash and condition it to get all of the tangles out.

Our sky is dripping today, but we had sun all weekend!

I wish I had the answer about the squirrel's nest hair!

Oh, we've got lots of feathers here, too. I don't know what happens to them... I think they end up in my daughter's room, never to be seen again...

can it be too windy to fly a kite? we never have enough wind so I've never thought about it but I'd think the answer would be no ... unless of course, you are dealing with a hurricane?

Loved your list of questions! sorry but I dont think I will be much help with answers. Except that your kiddos could get sick from the turkey wing....so make sure they wash their hands after playing with it.
