Wardrobe Wednesday (kind of but not really)

Bloggers meet Monkey. Monkey is one giant pain in my ass that my children adore. My father-in-law purchased this furry little gorilla for Mae one year at X-mas. She was terrified of it so we threw him in the toybox with the rest of the overflow stuffed animals until Binny found him one day and claimed him as hers, I think she was 2 or 3. Several years later and some minor surgery (Monkey blew a seam and needed to be restuffed and stitched back together) Monkey is still going strong and believe it or not, extremely mischievous. He always seems to be the one knocking over milk at the table or talking at all hours of the night when my children should be sleeping.
Monkey will be joining us on our little family vacation, but if he can't keep his mouth shut he will be banished to the trunk for the 12 hour car ride.
Click on the Wardrobe Wednesday button on my sidebar for all of the info and how you can play along.

We have a Knuffle Bunny that seems to be just as mischievous.

Each child has grown up with his or her own 'it' in this house and what a crisis when 'it' does a disappearing act. (and they always do for a time) ;)

If monkey misbehaves and isn't allowed in the car, he can come and stay with me!

Really, it'd be fine.... it'd be better than fine...... it'd be pretty alright totally and utterly...!

We should introduce your Monkey and our Gorilly. They'd make quite the pair.

isn't it funny how some kids are terrified of certain stuffed animals and some just love them?
