Oliver had a haircut not too long ago, but he was due again. He was shedding all over the house and rolling in the dirt outside. Just look at that filthy dog
The other day we had to cut a chunk of lost Silly Putty out of his coat.
Oliver doesn't love having his hair cut, but he tolerates it. (Much more than he tolerates me photographing him.) It is key though to take him outside as soon as he is done, or he'll whiz all over the floor. The vibration of the clipper must do something for him.
As a reward for sitting through his haircut like good doggy, he and the Gardener played catch.
Who says only little dogs are cute?

He is such a beautiful dog. He looks much cooler with his new hair cut.
I've never seen a saint bernard with a crew cut!!! Cute!
Wow they look like 2 different dogs. Which reminds me I'm getting my hair cut like that next week. I hope I look as cute! :D
Silly putty?! He is very cute, even if he is a slob (sort of fits my husband, come to think of it.)
We never shaved our Saints growing up--but I'll bet they would have appreciated it during the hot, hot, hot, mid-west, corn-belt July and August... I love the patterns on his skin.
I sound like a broken record, but awesome pix as usual :).
I just shaved one of my dogs too. Yours looks cuter.
AWESOME! lol. Looks just like ours with those pretty crossed paws. ha ha ha! We also shave our St. usually end of May. Although with the hair that came out in todays brushing, it may be earlier. CUTE PHOTOS!!!!!!!
He's ready for summer!
Hopefully I don't offend anyone when I say this, but YUCK! Little dogs are not cute. I am a big dog lover myself.
I love BIG dogs! We have three dogs. I would say they are medium size: springer spaniel, black lab and fox hound. I only take the springer spaniel to get groomed. The other two are okay as long as we brush them.
OMG Oliver is so f*ing cute!
